Notifications

At most one notification a day, only when something needs you, and it never holds an amount, a merchant, or an account name.

FullFi can tell you that something needs you, so you don't have to open it to find out. It's off until you turn it on.

Turning them on

In Settings → You → Notifications, select Turn on for this device on each phone or computer you want them on, and allow notifications when your browser asks. Then choose what's worth a notification. That choice is yours, on every device:

  • Daily digest (the default): anything on the Ledger → Needs attention page.
  • Important only: questions about a match, expenses waiting for your approval, documents waiting for review, bills or pay that haven't arrived, budgets over their limit, goals past their date, and differences found while reconciling.

On an iPhone or iPad, add FullFi to your Home Screen first, then open it from there and turn them on.

When they arrive

At most once a day, from 9:00 in the timezone of the oldest workspace you belong to, and only on a day when something needs you. The count covers every workspace you belong to.

What a notification says

Only how many things need you, such as "3 things need you in FullFi". Tapping it opens Needs attention, where you see what they are.

A notification passes through your browser maker's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla, or Microsoft) on its way to your device. That's why it never holds an amount, a merchant, or an account name, and the message is encrypted so only your device can read it.

Turning them off

Select Turn off for this device in the same place. Signing a device out turns its notifications off too.
