FullFi doesn't calculate tax
This page gathers the facts a tax return about investments usually needs. It applies no tax rule: no country's, no capital gains rate, no short- or long-term split. The difference it shows on a disposal is plain arithmetic, proceeds minus cost, not a taxable gain. What to declare, and how, is up to you or your tax professional.
Where to find it
Open Reports → Investments → Disposals and income, from "For your records" on the investments report. It covers a year: the calendar year, or your fiscal year when the workspace has one. Pick another period with the same controls as other reports. Everything is in your workspace's base currency.
Disposals
One line for each lot a disposal drew on: what you sold, swapped, or spent, how much, when you acquired it and when you disposed of it, how many days you held it, the cost, the fees, and the proceeds, and the accounts involved.
- Cost is first in, first out, the method the investments report uses. Fees on the way in are part of the cost, and fees on the way out come off the proceeds.
- An unknown cost stays unknown, never 0: for example, an opening balance with no cost entered, or no price on the day it came in. The line says why and is left out of the total difference. Set what you paid on the investments report and it's counted.
- Tokens sent to an address you don't track, and balance corrections, leave at cost with no difference. They're listed apart and not counted.
Income
Liquidity pool fees, lending interest and rewards, staking rewards, other investment income, and crypto you received and filed as income, each split into collected and accrued, not collected yet, so nothing counts twice (see Realized and Total). Crypto received that you haven't filed yet is listed as needing review, and isn't counted as income until you file it.
Downloading
Select Download disposals as CSV, Download income as CSV, or Download both as JSON. The files hold exact amounts, dates in your workspace's timezone, the rates used and where each came from, and a link to every transaction, so each line can be traced to its source.
Only the owner and admins can download, and every download is recorded in the workspace's audit log. Once a file is on your device it's no longer encrypted, so keep it somewhere safe.
